Michelle is deeply passionate about the well-being of people, animals, and the phenomenal realm of nature in our world. As an Equine / Animal / Nature Assisted Wellness Practitioner for the past 12 years, her foundational approach is learning, growth and healing through holism, mindfulness, awareness, and trauma informed, nature-based therapy principals.
Michelle’s personal and professional lived experience with: Horses, other Animals (namely dogs and cats) & Nature aspects; Nutrition & Eating Disorders; Complex Challenge & Change; Energy Healing & Animal / Nature Communication; Health Food Shop Owner, Mother, Grandmother, House-keeper, Farmer & Business Owner have provided richness, creativity, passion, integrity and authenticity in her purpose-work.

Michelle currently supports from her enchanting, family farm-home of 24 acres with stone cottage, forest tracks, gardens and pasture with her loving co-facilitators - family herd of 7 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat (and many furry hoppies and winged beauties), in the magnificent gateway of the Huon Valley Tasmania. She particularly enjoys offering personal growth and healing with ‘Natural Way of the Horse Life Skills’ shared experiences; and has a natural, compassionate strength for supporting those with lived experience of complex challenge and change.
Michelle strives to professionally and personally grow for the benefit of herself, as well as others. She is active in a number of health service provider committees, networking, training and references groups; and completed many PD training workshops including: Mental Health First Aid; Senior First Aid; Domestic Violence for Front-line Workers; Circle of Security; MHPN Training & Webinars; MHPN Trauma Training & Webinars; Bruce Perry Trauma Training (1 Day Workshop); Gestalt Trauma Training with Noel Haarburger (1 Day Workshop); Eating Disorders Support Group Convener; Homeopathic Home Prescriber; Equine Nutrition; Pasture & Land Management; Sharon May Davis Horse Dissection & Muscular-Skeletal Workshops, Horsemanship Clinics, Emotional / Behavioral Dog Training etc. And regular, ongoing personal and professional development / supervision for her current practice.
During 2020, Michelle celebrated working with Nicole Gavin (certified EAL/P and Trainer Assessor) to further grow Equine Supported Programs as a unique Training Model and Wellness Ethos.
