Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Hunter Valley Children’s Therapies (HVCT), Co-Founder of Nature Based Therapies Australia
20+ years experience working with children and young people who have experiences of trauma, abuse and neglect, those with mental health challenges and children with special needs and disabilities. Offers a range of Therapeutic options, including Equine Assisted Psychotherapy(EAP), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Particular interest working alongside neurodivergent children, young people and adults and a vast majority are NDIS participants.
Registered Provider with the NDIA since its inception around 10 years ago and has offered a range of professional development and training opportunities for other practitioners wanting to increase their knowledge, skills and expertise when working with NDIS participants.
Passionate about supporting other practitioners to understand how the scheme works, implementing systems within their practices to ensure compliance, quality service delivery to participants and business sustainability, and extending their knowledge in the space of report writing for NDIS Plan Reviews.
